MICHELIN STARS ABOUND AT THE REVERIE SAIGON

In its ongoing series of staging world-class dining experiences, The Reverie Saigon is hosting acclaimed Michelin-stared chef Siu Hin-Chi for a very special culinary residency.

For three nights only, from 13 to 15 April, Chef Siu will hold court at The Royal Pavilion, treating lucky diners to his signature premium Cantonese delicacies.

Chef Siu has over 37 years of culinary experience, and has been the executive chef at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants, including Tang Court and Duddell’s. Over the course of his career, restaurants he has helmed have been awarded a total of 16 Michelin stars.

In the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2018, he led his team to the first Michelin-star recognition for Ying Jee Club, which had only been in operation for just over three months. Impressively, in December 2018, Chef Siu steered his team to yet another Michelin star, raising the status of Ying Jee Club to two Michelin-stars.

Chef Siu’s expertise lies primarily in fresh seafood and dried marine cuisine, and honors the principle of using the finest ingredients and most delicate techniques to prepare the food.

Mr. Kai Speth, WMC Group Vice President Operations and Business Performance, said the latest residency of a Michelin-stared guest chef at The Reverie Saigon unquestionably made the hotel the home of the finest culinary events in Vietnam.

“This is the third in this series of events, and a particularly exciting one as Chef Siu has stood head and shoulders above his peers in the world of Cantonese Cuisine in Hong Kong, which is surely the most competitive culinary environment in the world,” he said.

During the event, Chef Siu will present a six-course tasting menu for VND 5,880,000++ per person or VND 6,880,000++ per person with matched wines, and an a la carte menu with five dishes ranging in price from VND 388,000++ to VND 4,280,000++.
