JOIN HÔTEL DES ARTS SAIGON FOR THE EXCITING CULINARY JOURNEY WITH THE YOUNGEST MICHELIN STAR CHEF MICHAEL DYLLONG

Hôtel des Arts Saigon, MGallery Collection welcomes the most talented guest chef Michael Dyllong of 1 Michelin-starred Palmgarden in Dortmund, Germany to Social Club Restaurant (23rd floor) from Jan 16 to Jan 18, 2019.

Michael’s talents were recognized early on when he was awarded the prize for Vice World Champion of Young Chefs 2011 while still in his mid-20s. A few years later, he was again highlighted by Gault Millau as a Young Talent in 2014, one year after Palmgarden –  the restaurant in his hometown of Dortmund, Germany, where he is head chef – was awarded 1 Michelin star and 15 points from Gault Millau. (Gault et Millau is a French restaurant guide. It was founded by two restaurant critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau in 1965. Gault Millau rates on a scale of 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest. Restaurants given below 10 points are rarely listed. The points are awarded based on the quality of the food, with comments about service, price or the atmosphere of the restaurant given separately). These achievements made Michael Dyllong the youngest talent among the Chefs whose restaurants were awarded the Michelin Stars.

During his visit at Hôtel des Arts Saigon, this Vice World Champion of Young Chefs 2011 will personally serve up an aesthetically appealing exquisite 7-course menu for Chef’s Table, a 6-course degustation menu dinner and a cooking class for haute cuisine enthusiasts in Saigon. Moreover, being hosted by Executive Chef Egidio Latorraca and his passionate team, this Michelin culinary journey of the young talent Michael Dyllong will offer epicureans artistic yet contemporary fusion of Western flavors with a German touch to Vietnamese epicureans.
