Job title: Trade Services Assistant – Business Centre

The British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) Business Centre is looking for a dynamic individual for the position of Trade Services Assistant – Business Centre in HCMC office:

Job Description
1. Business Centre
– Research Assistance:
– Your responsibility is to assist HCMC and Hanoi colleagues with research work commissioned by customers as well as research work on sectors and other relevant topics.

2. Events Assistance
– Your responsibility is to assist HCMC and Hanoi colleagues to successfully deliver BBGV Business Centre events.
– Assist with organising tailor-made networking events and visit programme;
– Assist with co-ordinating one-to-one meetings, seminars and local introductions;

3. Business Centre Operational and Administrative Support
– You are responsible for assisting the Executive Director and the BC team with operational and administrative functions to ensure the process run smoothly.
– Assist in arranging contract, invoice and payment
– Assist in arranging documents for BC’s meetings
– Liaise with external service providers on database systems, webinar providers, payment systems, etc.

4. Stakeholder Engagement
– Assist the BC to develop and expand the Business Centre’s British and Vietnamese stakeholder. For example;
– Engage with existing BBGV Secretariat members to foster links between them and the Business Centre
– Maintain BC database and contacts.

Job Requirement
* Essential:
• University degree;
• Excellent written and spoken English (IELTS / TOEFL certification);
• Strong Vietnamese language skills;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

* Preferred:
• Degree in business or event management-related study
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently delivering high quality results;
• Good IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
