Date: Wednesday, 22nd June 2016Time 11:30 to 13:45Venue: Caravelle Saigon Hotel, Dist. 1, HCMC SPEAKERS: Pham Hong Hai, CEO, HSBC Vietnam Pham Hong Hai was appointed the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. on 1 December 2014. He is the first Vietnamese Executive to head the operations of one of Vietnam’s leading foreign-owned banks. Hai, a well-known and respected figure in the country’s banking and finance sector, first joined HSBC in 1995 as Head of Global Markets at HSBC Vietnam in 2004 and then Head of Global Banking and Markets (GBM) in 2012. Dr. Tuan Anh Le, Director Head of Research, Dragon Capital Dr. Tuan received a PhD in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 2008. He was an economic instructor at Pennsylvania State University during 2004-07. He joined Dragon in 2008 as Chief Economist, and in 2010 was appointed Head of Research. Dr. Tuan was promoted to Deputy CIO in 2015. He serves on the Investment Committees of various equity and fixed-income funds managed by Dragon, and by its domestic subsidiary VFM. Dr. Tuan has also been Alternate Director of Vietnam Debt Fund. Tuan has led numerous technical assistance projects for the firm with the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Treasury. Samantha Campbell, Managing Partner, Hogan Lovells Samantha is the Managing Partner of the Vietnam practice of Hogan Lovells, a top ten global law firm. She is an English – qualified solicitor. Samantha has been working in Vietnam since 2009. Before that time she practiced in London for more than 10 years advising on projects and transactions in both developed and emerging economies, including in Africa where she was born and brought up. Mai Tuyet Hoa, Group Account Director, Millward Brown Hoa is currently Group Account Director of Millward Brown Vietnam, working closely with several local and multinational clients to help them build successful brands and strengthen their communication strategy. Hoa has over 13 years of experience in both Qualitative and Quantitative research in Vietnam. Throughout this time, Hoa has built a solid experience across several industries including FMCG and non-FMCG, and known as an expert on understanding Vietnamese consumers and shoppers.
