About us:
Department for International Trade (DIT) is the government department that helps UK based companies succeed in international markets and assists overseas companies to bring high quality investment to the UK's dynamic economy.

 DIT employs approximately 2,300 staff, of whom over 1,200 are overseas and 1,000 are in the UK. We operate in 162 locations, in 96 markets. Staff overseas are based in British embassies and other diplomatic offices around the world.

Department for International Trade (DIT) has two offices in Vietnam. One in Hanoi the capital city and the other in Ho Chi Minh City in the South. UK companies that have a specific enquiry relating to Hanoi, Hai Phong and Da Nang should direct their enquiry to the Embassy in Hanoi. Enquiries relating to Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Nha Trang (ie south of Da Nang) should contact the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
