BBGV had the pleasure to meet Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hung- Vice Chairman/General Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA), along with representatives from Community Entrepreneurs Fund, and Saigon Entrepreneur Newspaper on Tuesday, 04th of July 2017, to discuss about Memorandum of Understanding between BBGV and HUBA.
The discussion began with the introduction of the organizational structure and key responsibilities of each partner in Vietnam and international markets. Both parties also reviewed the past activities with the achievements in economic relationship between United Kingdom and Vietnam, and openly shared about future plans in international relations and trade missions between two countries under the influence of Brexit and the EU-Vietnam free trade agreement.
Attendants carefully reviewed and discussed on details of agreement. Accordingly, both parties agreed to support and develop international collaboration between individuals and corporate members, along with promoting business expansion and investments between United Kingdom and Vietnam. Key activities include B2B networking, connecting trade & investment prospects, coordinating Go-to-market activities for companies from the two countries, as well as exchanging information and experience between both parties on partnership development.
The MOU shall remain effective for a period of 3 years. A detailed action plan would be developed and reviewed frequently by representatives of both parties. Members of BBGV and HUBA will directly benefit upon the signing of this agreement at the end of July 2017.
