From the 17th to 19th of May 2017, British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) was delighted to host the Training Gateway trade mission to Vietnam, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Ian Gibbons, the British Consul General, provided a warm welcome and some interesting background on the importance of UK based training and education in the Vietnam marketplace to the delegates. It was continued by a briefing from Chris Jeffery (British University Vietnam), Colin Blackwell (Vietnam Business Forum), Dinh Hong Thai and Nguyen Duc Hoang (Vietnam Institute of Education and Technology Development), and Rick Yvanovich (TRG).

With a range of workshops conducted in Ho Chi Minh City and individual B2B meetings in both locations, the delegates were able to discuss opportunities with Vietnamese representatives from Universities, Colleges and training providers, followed by visits to SEAMEO RETRAC, the International University, and the University of Economics and Finance.
